Kenguru

This was one of the first options that I found.  I was excited!!!  Its electric, I like that idea,  And its a good price, $US25,000 .  The car started in Australia, but is now manufactured in the USA,

There are some major down sides to the Kenguru.  The maximum speed is 40 klms per hour, very limited space, no passengers and little room for shopping.  The Kenguru is about to bring out a new model and it looks like they have corrected one of the major issue that I had with it, there was no locking device for the wheelchair.  The new model seems to have a docking station like the one in the VW Transporter that I am going to get.







Its a great little car, but not really suitable.  No passengers, little room, slow and no use for long trips.

Thanks to those who have contributed to my new van, so far we have raised just over $4,150.
